About the Role
PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend offers an outpatient Wound and Ostomy Clinic dedicated to serving the needs of the community, including underserved populations throughout the region. This role involves providing diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and education for patients and their families in a collaborative practice environment.
- Average patient volume of 12+ patients per day
- Collaborative practice with onsite Infectious Disease physicians and surgical specialists
- Services include:
- Wound debridement, cleaning, and dressing changes
- Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (Wound VAC)
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Biologic Skin Substitute Therapy
- Pressure ulcer prevention, treatment, and monitoring
- Specialty support surface management
- Wound and ostomy education
- Coordination of care related to antibiotic therapy and surgical intervention
- Serves as a resource for physicians, staff, patients, and the community
- Treatment plans are developed collaboratively to meet individual patient needs, strengths, limitations, and goals, providing age-appropriate care
Team & Support
- Join a highly supportive, team-based clinic environment with dedicated front office staff, clinic leadership, and administrative support
- Work alongside:
- 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians
- 2 experienced WOC Nurses
- 2 Medical Assistants
- Supported by a dedicated Medical Assistant and WOC Nurse in a collaborative care model
- Five fully equipped exam and treatment rooms
Requirements
CWOCN certification preferred but not required.
Pay
$78.63–$93.86 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
