APP Advanced Practice Provider (PA, NP or FNP) | Per Diem | Hillsdale Hospital Primary Care Clinics

Work Schedule

Will work PRN, primarily at our Hillsdale Health and Wellness Clinic where the hours are 1000-1800 weekdays plus Saturdays on a rotation. Also fills in at our other clinics which are open 0800 - 1700 weekdays.

Requirements

• Master's degree required, 3 years' experience preferred
• Current Michigan Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Responsibilities

• Perform annual wellness exams, pre-employment physicals, treat injuries and illnesses, and promote good health and disease prevention
• Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
• Recommend diagnostic or therapeutic interventions with attention to safety, cost, invasiveness, simplicity, acceptability, adherence, and efficacy
• Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays
• Prescribe medication
• Educate patients about prevention and self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances
• Maintain a comfortable environment for patients, exhibiting a non-judgmental, compassionate attitude
