About the role

Employees work individually or in teams to fabricate and distribute sofas, armchairs, and chairs.

Responsibilities

• Load materials into production machinery
• Supply materials to other departments or team members
• Assemble furniture on production lines
• Use tools to assemble and fabricate furniture
• Monitor production processes
• Meet physical demands of the position
• Operate small pneumatic tools
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors

Work environment

Regularly works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to cold, heat, and humidity. Noise levels can be high at times.

Physical demands

• Ability to move and lift objects throughout the shift without fatigue
• Constant movement and use of limbs; requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and endurance
• Ability to bend and lift pieces during the shift
• Ability to stand for the entire shift (8–10 hours per day)
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly each day

Requirements

• Preferred: prior experience in fast-paced manufacturing
• Ability to use power tools (e.g., staple guns) to assemble parts
• Must prioritize safety in all tasks
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to follow supervisor instructions
