About the role
Employees work individually or in teams to fabricate and distribute sofas, armchairs, and chairs.
Responsibilities
- Load materials into production machinery
- Supply materials to other departments or team members
- Assemble furniture on production lines
- Use tools to assemble and fabricate furniture
- Monitor production processes
- Meet physical demands of the position
- Operate small pneumatic tools
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisors
Work environment
Regularly works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to cold, heat, and humidity. Noise levels can be high at times.
Physical demands
- Ability to move and lift objects throughout the shift without fatigue
- Constant movement and use of limbs; requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and endurance
- Ability to bend and lift pieces during the shift
- Ability to stand for the entire shift (8–10 hours per day)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly each day
Requirements
- Preferred: prior experience in fast-paced manufacturing
- Ability to use power tools (e.g., staple guns) to assemble parts
- Must prioritize safety in all tasks
- Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to follow supervisor instructions
