API Integration Developer
Leverage your experience in full-stack software development, Broadcom API Gateway policy development, and enterprise integration to design, implement, and support secure API solutions in a high-availability environment. This role focuses on building and maintaining high-performance, scalable APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure APIs ensuring high performance, scalability, and compliance with modern security standards
- Build and support REST or SOAP services and full-stack applications using .NET, C#, Java, and microservice architectures
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications across IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, JBOSS, Linux, and Windows environments
- Collaborate with application and cross-functional teams to onboard APIs, ensure seamless gateway integration, and support SDLC workflows
- Integrate APIs with enterprise systems, identity platforms, and COTS products
- Operate independently in fast-paced, mission-critical environments
- Perform API testing, debugging, and optimization, including reducing latency, tuning throughput, and implementing caching strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure APIs
- Experience with Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway policy development
- Solid programming skills in .NET, C#, or Java
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Layer 7 Broadcom or CA API Gateway
- Experience with Identity and Access Management environments
- Experience with Broadcom Identity Manager, Broadcom SiteMinder, or Entrust Identity Guard
- Knowledge of Single-Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and enterprise network components (Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancers, VIP)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements.
Schedule
This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite, depending on the position listing. Remote roles may occasionally require in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid roles require frequent work from a Booz Allen facility and may also involve customer site visits. Onsite roles are primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
