API Inspector

About the role

As an API Inspector, you will provide our customers with technical recommendations on repairs, replacement, and alterations needed for specific equipment while abiding by American Petroleum Institute (API) standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate 510 and 570 inspection work throughout facility units
• Provide technical input and create inspection reports
• Provide technical guidance on NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) practices

Requirements

• Active API 510 and 570 certifications
• 5–8 years of API experience
• Previous Non-Destructive Testing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must pass DISA background, drug, and alcohol screens
• Valid driver’s license and TWIC card
• Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience with all inspection activities related to the mechanical integrity program of a refinery.
