API 653 Inspector II

This role serves as a key liaison between operations and quality assurance teams, providing expert inspection coordination to ensure compliance, safety, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection activities and advise on best practices
• Coordinate with field teams and management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards
• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in inspection coordination or advisory roles within industrial or energy settings
• Strong knowledge of inspection standards, safety regulations, and compliance protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in documentation and reporting with attention to detail
• Certification in API 653 (API 510 and 570 preferred)
• High school diploma required; technical or engineering degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant inspection or coordination experience in industrial or energy sectors
• Reimbursable travel, including trips to Carlsbad, NM, and surrounding DelTex areas
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed

Skills

• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
• Familiarity with fleet management or equipment inspection processes
• Experience with project management tools and software
• Multilingual skills are a plus

Schedule

• Flexible schedule, including days off on Monday or Sunday (schedule: 5/2)
