API 510/570 (NESTED) - Brownsville, TX

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to clients.
• Provide technical recommendations for the repair, re-rating, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters.
• Offer technical input to clients regarding welding and metallurgical issues.
• Provide technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
• Comply fully with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.
• 6+ years’ experience or 4+ years on-site experience.
• Additional 653 and CWI certification preferred but not required.
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.
• Willingness to work at a nested site and local to Brownsville, TX or willing to relocate.
• TWIC card preferred.
