APC Director, Medical Specialties (Bay Area, CA)

About the role

Provide operational and clinical leadership for Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) across medical specialties and continuum of care service lines. Partner with physician and operational leadership to design and implement high-performing care delivery models that optimize APC scope of practice and support collaborative care delivery. Drive initiatives that improve access, quality, patient experience, and financial performance across programs. Mentor and support APC leaders and emerging leaders. Maintain a hybrid role that combines leadership responsibilities with clinical practice within one of the following specialties: Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Weight Management, Travel Medicine, Dermatology, Sleep Medicine, Psychiatry, Urgent Care, Integrative Medicine, Hospital Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a hybrid role that combines leadership responsibilities with clinical practice within one of the following specialties: Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Weight Management, Travel Medicine, Dermatology, Sleep Medicine, Psychiatry, Urgent Care, Integrative Medicine, Hospital Medicine.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience
• Current California State NP or PA License
• CAPA Controlled Substance Certification (for Physician Assistants only)
• Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (for Nurse Practitioners only)
• Nurse Practitioner furnishing number of NP’s
• Active DEA registration
