Apartment Property Manager

We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Property Manager to lead operations for a multi-family apartment complex in Cherry Hill, NJ. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll oversee leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, unit turns, compliance, reporting, and a growing onsite team. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for 176 residential units
• Ensure compliance with township requirements: Fire/Safety, Backflow, U&O, etc.
• Manage renewals, collections, evictions, move-ins, and move-outs
• Directly manage Leasing Agent, Assistant Property Manager, and Maintenance Manager
• Set goals, monitor performance, and conduct training
• Hold weekly team meetings and support a culture of accountability
• Approve applications and new leases
• Ensure unit availability is updated in Entrata
• Lead weekly outreach and marketing efforts to drive lead flow
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager, vendors, and contractors
• Approve scopes of work and ensure timely turn execution
• Confirm readiness and quality for move-ins
• Monitor KPIs and portfolio performance
• Review/approve payroll
• Assist with annual budgeting

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential property management experience (multifamily or scattered-site)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Entrata or similar PMS + MS Office
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant law and housing regulations
• Professional certifications (NALP, CAM, etc.) preferred
