APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- Sign on bonus for eligible

About the role

Bear Real Estate Group is looking for a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to support our stunning, Mariner property located in St. Francis, WI. You will work amongst a team of professionals within a breathtaking community with premium amenities. You’ll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep and functionality of the property, including residential units, common areas, and building systems. Up to $2,000 Sign‑on bonuses apply only to candidates hired through direct application channels and do not apply to agency‑submitted candidates.

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Respond promptly to service requests and work orders from residents and management
• Conduct inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and resolve issues
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash removal, landscaping, and snow removal as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies
• Assist with emergency maintenance as needed, including after-hours on-call duties
• Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
