About the role
Successful Service Technicians can come from a variety of backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management. Must be available to be part of a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical, and appliance areas
- Maintain accurate records and complete work orders using smart devices and property management software
- Support the company’s values and culture by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial, or hotel maintenance
- Intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry
- Familiarity with building safety systems including fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
- Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekend work and on-call rotations
- Site-specific certifications such as:
- EPA Type II (preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date)
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) (preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date)
Pay
Hourly: Starting at $23.02 - $28.78 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location. Annual starting compensation: $47,881 - $61,651.
