Apartment Maintenance Technician
About the role
The role involves performing various maintenance tasks in residential properties, including but not limited to fixing plumbing issues, painting, and cleaning apartments. The successful candidate will work closely with property management teams to ensure all maintenance requests are addressed promptly.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on residential properties
- Handle painting and light carpentry tasks
- Clean and maintain common areas and units
- Communicate with residents and property management staff regarding maintenance needs
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of related experience in home maintenance or similar field
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic electrical and plumbing systems
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
