About the role

The role involves performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks in residential properties. This includes fixing plumbing issues, electrical problems, and addressing heating and cooling system malfunctions.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other home systems issues.
  • Communicate with residents to understand and address their needs promptly.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and building codes.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • At least 2 years of related experience in home maintenance or similar field.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor.
  • Knowledge of common home repair techniques and tools.

Skills

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience with basic electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.

Pay
