Apartment Maintenance Supervisor - Willow Glen

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead maintenance operations at Willow Glen Apartments, a garden‑style, stabilized community with 312 units in Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: manage all aspects of property maintenance, including repairs, installations, and routine inspections, with a focus on high quality and timely completion.
• Lead with excellence: lead, train, and motivate your team to maintain company standards, respond promptly to requests, and support an outstanding living experience.
• Hands‑on: diagnose and fix a wide range of areas, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Welcoming spaces: inspect new units that are coming online. Inspect all vacancies to determine make‑ready needs and ensure quality turns for new residents by creating a welcoming and comfortable living space.
• Preventative maintenance: develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment, building systems, and amenities operate optimally and meet safety standards.
• Safety first: ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents and team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or property management.
• Prior leadership experience in a multi‑family environment preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA Certification required.

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools; capable of lifting heavy objects and climbing ladders with ease.

The pay for this opportunity can vary and may range anywhere from $30 to $32 per hour.
