About the Role

Tribute Properties is seeking a motivated, hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at Heather Ridge Apartments in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: manage all aspects of property maintenance, including repairs, installations, and routine inspections, focusing on high quality and timely completion.
• Lead with excellence: lead, train, and motivate the team to maintain company standards, respond promptly to requests, and support an outstanding living experience.
• Hands‑on: diagnose and fix HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Welcoming spaces: inspect new units coming online and all vacancies to determine make‑ready needs and ensure quality turns for new residents.
• Preventative maintenance: develop and implement a program to keep equipment, building systems, and amenities operating optimally and meeting safety standards.
• Safety first: ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents and team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or property management, with prior leadership experience in a multi‑family environment preferred.
• HVAC/EPA Certification required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Own and know how to use basic hand and power tools; can lift heavy objects and climb ladders with ease.
• Highly organized, proactive, solution‑oriented with a commitment to resident satisfaction and team excellence.

The pay for this opportunity can vary and may range anywhere from $32 to $34 per hour.
