Apartment Get-Ready Technician

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC is seeking an industry-experienced Get-Ready Technician to serve The Magnolias at Hernando and Southcrest Lake Apartments in DeSoto County, Mississippi. While the position covers two communities, the technician will generally work at only one location each day, with specific scheduled work days for each.

Responsibilities

• Prepares vacant apartments for rental using company "Get Ready" standards
• Assists maintenance personnel with general appliance repairs and plumbing repairs
• Installs appliances and fixtures as required
• Installs, repairs, and rekeys locks
• Moves and installs appliances
• Participates in ongoing property improvement and preventative maintenance
• Adheres to company safety policies, including applicable OSHA safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of chemical usage and safety requirements
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes, get-ready procedures, pool maintenance, and general care preferred
• Good physical condition and strength with willingness to work overtime
• Able to read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
• Must pass credit check, background check, and drug screening
