About the Role
Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking an APACS Project Lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and improvement of the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS). This role ensures APACS continues to meet mission, policy, and user needs across a large global user base, supporting technology development, acquisition, delivery, and sustainment decisions for U.S. and international defense clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate roadmap planning, requirements gathering, and prioritization of system enhancements.
- Work closely with policy owners, helpdesk staff, developers, and cybersecurity personnel to align system changes with mission and security needs.
- Track schedules, risks, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular updates and briefings to leadership.
- Lead configuration control activities and manage stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or related field.
- PMP or similar certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience managing or leading complex IT or case-management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work across technical, policy, and user communities.
- Active TS clearance and ability to maintain it throughout employment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with APACS, the Foreign Clearance Program, or other large DoD enterprise applications.
- Background in change management, configuration control boards, or enterprise IT governance.
Pay
Salary range: USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $180,000.00/Yr. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
