The Accounts Payable Merchandise Clerk supports financial and administrative operations at Boot Barn, a company that values community, collaboration, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Perform three-way matching (invoice, purchase order and receiving report)
- Review and research unpaid invoices from low volume vendors
- Resolve discrepancies between invoices and receipts
- Communicate with other departments to resolve issues
- Upload and verify emailed invoices using Ancora software
- Submit invoices to merchandising software for matching to receipts
- Perform scanning or data entry of paper invoices
- Handle some mail function
- Filing of documents as needed
- Contribute to other tasks and projects as necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience in accounts payable or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with scanning and data entry
