AP Merchandise Clerk

About the role

The Accounts Payable Merchandise Clerk supports financial and administrative operations at Boot Barn, a company that values community, collaboration, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Perform three-way matching (invoice, purchase order and receiving report)
• Review and research unpaid invoices from low volume vendors
• Resolve discrepancies between invoices and receipts
• Communicate with other departments to resolve issues
• Upload and verify emailed invoices using Ancora software
• Submit invoices to merchandising software for matching to receipts
• Perform scanning or data entry of paper invoices
• Handle some mail function
• Filing of documents as needed
• Contribute to other tasks and projects as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with scanning and data entry
