About the role
This position plays a key role in accounts payable and receivables. Manages the customer experience including processing and entering customer data in an accurate and timely manner; maintaining effective customer satisfaction and support.
Responsibilities
- Routine customer service support with accounts receivables and payables
- Pay all vendor invoices, checking for appropriate GL codes, approvals & purchase orders
- Filing customer, vendor invoices
- Order entry and Customer service for satellite locations
- Collections
- Deposit checks as needed
- Update paper logs and pricing
- Manage open PO Maintenance
- Create and prepare documents and spreadsheets for accruals
- Process incoming / outgoing mail
- Answer telephones in a courteous manner, routes calls, take messages, answers routine inquiries, and provides general information, greets, and directs visitors
- Provides prominent level of customer service and assistance to clients
- Communicate in person and through correspondence with high professionalism to vendors, customers, and senior leadership
- May order, stock, and distribute office supplies
- Support department with office duties, special projects, and various errands, as needed
- All other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years' experience working in the accounting field, with 2 years in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite is required

Pay
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18.90 - $26.65 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
