AP/Customer Service Representative

About the role

This position plays a key role in accounts payable and receivables. Manages the customer experience including processing and entering customer data in an accurate and timely manner; maintaining effective customer satisfaction and support.

Responsibilities

• Routine customer service support with accounts receivables and payables
• Pay all vendor invoices, checking for appropriate GL codes, approvals & purchase orders
• Filing customer, vendor invoices
• Order entry and Customer service for satellite locations
• Collections
• Deposit checks as needed
• Update paper logs and pricing
• Manage open PO Maintenance
• Create and prepare documents and spreadsheets for accruals
• Process incoming / outgoing mail
• Answer telephones in a courteous manner, routes calls, take messages, answers routine inquiries, and provides general information, greets, and directs visitors
• Provides prominent level of customer service and assistance to clients
• Communicate in person and through correspondence with high professionalism to vendors, customers, and senior leadership
• May order, stock, and distribute office supplies
• Support department with office duties, special projects, and various errands, as needed
• All other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years' experience working in the accounting field, with 2 years in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite is required

Pay

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18.90 - $26.65 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
