Job SummaryThe Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for reviewing, processing, and maintaining records of invoices and payments. This role ensures the accuracy of financial transactions, compliance with company policies, and timely payment of obligations. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for handling or contributing to all Accounts Payable functions, including but not limited to the following: Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals.Sort and distribute incoming mailProcess check requestsAudit and process credit card billsCompile funding requestsMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.1099 maintenance, including ensuring that vendors are set up correctly in the ERP.Respond to all vendor inquiriesReconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepanciesAssist in month end closingData entryAccurately maintain files and documentation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
