AOD Counselor II/III (Susanville - HDSP)1

About the role

Amity Foundation is a Teaching and Therapeutic Community dedicated to the inclusion and habilitation of marginalized individuals through its Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based and standardized curriculum.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participation and completion.
• Work collaboratively with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institutions, and CDCR contracted staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor with one (1) year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.
• Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor with one (1) year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.

Pay

$32 - $32 an hour

Schedule

Full-Time, On-site, Hourly wage: $32.00

Work performed inside a State Prison. Must be certified to be considered. (CCAPP, BBS, CAADE, CADTP)
