(Anticipated) Preschool Paraeducators/Collaborative Program
Anticipated Paraeducator positions for the 2026-2027 school year are available at one or more of the following schools: Valley Regional High School, John Winthrop Middle School, Chester Elementary School, Deep River Elementary School, and/or Essex Elementary School.
About the Role
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to collaborate in multiple educational settings, work with students who have academic and behavioral needs, be flexible, maintain confidentiality, and show passion and enthusiasm for their assignment. Experience working with a wide range of related service providers and support staff to meet the needs of diverse learners is preferred. Preferred experience includes Literacy, DTI, Math, behavior management, one-on-one support, and inclusion.
Requirements
- A passing score on the ParaPro certificate (457), or
- An Associate’s Degree, or
- 60 college credits

- 35.0 hours per week
- Start date: August 27, 2026
- Assignment: Chester Elementary School and Deep River Elementary School
