About the role
This position supports students from elementary to post-secondary grade levels across the district.
Responsibilities
- Supports students' physical health and development
- Collaborates with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assesses student needs and progress, and modifies treatment plans accordingly
- Provides therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and prevent injuries
Requirements
- A current license from the State of Connecticut
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current registration with the State of Connecticut Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Experience working with diverse populations
