Anticipated Life Skills PK-4 Long Term Substitute

About the role

Vassalboro Community School is seeking an educator to work as a long-term substitute for the PK-4 Life Skills Program from late September 2026 until the end of November/Mid December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach life skills curriculum to students in PK-4 grade levels
• Support students' social-emotional development
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction

Requirements

• Valid Maine teaching certificate
• Experience working with PK-4 students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field preferred
• At least one year of experience in PK-4 education

Skills

• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of special education needs and accommodations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
