About the role
The candidate will be responsible for teaching two sections of 6th grade digital literacy at the ETMS (student population of 725) and NWHS (student population of 1010) to comply with NYS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Teach two sections of 6th grade digital literacy at ETMS and NWHS
- Work directly with a teacher aide to facilitate and coordinate daily operations of the Library functions
- Order books
- Cover students
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Required Certification Type: Library Media Specialist {7020}
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Library Science or related field
- Experience working with students in a library setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy library environment
- Knowledge of current trends in digital literacy education
Pay
$50,300.00 per year
