The Head Custodian is responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness, appearance, and safe operation of Otter Valley UMHS. The Head Custodian is responsible for maintaining the school's facilities and grounds in a condition of operating excellence, cleanliness, safety, and efficiency, creating an environment that students, staff, and the community are proud to experience. The Head Custodian Also Provides Leadership And Supervision To The Custodial Team, Including Seasonal Custodial Employees, Ensuring That Work Is Completed Effectively And Consistently. Safety, Cleanliness, Preventative Maintenance, And The Continued Efficient Operation Of The Facility Will Remain Top Priorities At All Times, With a Focus On Continuous Improvement And Presenting Otter Valley UMHS As a Model Campus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee cleanliness, repair and maintenance of all equipment, buildings and grounds of the school.
• Recommend to the Principal and Facilities Manager the purchase and replacement of maintenance equipment and custodial supplies.
