About the Role
Teach day and/or evening courses in Anthropology and/or Sociology, such as Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, Introduction to Sociology, The Sociology of Race, Ethnicity, and Culture, and Social Problems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver course instruction
- Follow common course outlines and policies
- Utilize the CCBC learning management system
- Grade, critique, and evaluate student work
- Provide timely feedback to students
- Keep and submit accurate classroom records
- Communicate with the discipline coordinator
- Attend required training sessions, professional development, and departmental meetings
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Anthropology or Sociology or a related field
- Prior teaching experience preferred
