Anthropologie Senior Designer - Print & Concept

Role

Anthropologie is seeking an experienced and creative senior concept designer.

Responsibilities

• Self-motivated, possesses the ability to envision a concept and drive it forward.
• Passionate and knowledgeable of emerging trends from runway, apparel brands, street style, art, design, influencers.
• Resilient to adapt in the face of obstacles or setbacks, seeing them as opportunities for growth.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze issues, generate solutions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Effectively manage time, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying ideas and feedback with clarity.
• Collaborate effectively, fostering positive relationships with managers, team members, and cross-functional partners.
• Take initiative to understand expectations, proactively seek clarification of goals and deliverables as needed.
• Effectively communicate creative ideas to executive leadership, cross-functional partners, and team.
• Foster strong partnerships with cross-functional partners to create cohesive concept presentations.
• Lead in creating original, trend-forward, brand-appropriate print concepts & seasonal trend packs.
• Utilize AI to create emotive imagery that is trend-forward & supports concept directives.
• Proactively prepare for weekly concept meetings, updating & developing print trends in reaction to feedback.
• Lead seasonal trend & concept workload to meet all deadlines.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the department's calendar, including key events, milestones, and deadlines.
• Maintain a current knowledge of the Anthro Apparel business as it relates to LY and Plan.
• Awareness of successes & opportunities found in weekly business, seasonal hindsight, and quarterly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fine art, textile design, graphic design, or related experience necessary.
• 8-10 years of experience in print or textile industry.
• Experienced in trend forecasting, print design, and apparel design.
• Advanced creative and technical skills in Adobe Photoshop & Indesign.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Experience in creative image creation using AI platforms.
