Duties And Responsibilities

• Enforcing student rules
• Making sure students follow the rules and taking action as directed by the shift supervisor
• Recording information about each student's health in the hospital quality (HQ) database
• Talking to the shift supervisor about any issues that arise
• Helping other departments within Telos with their tasks, like scheduling appointments, grading papers, and answering phones
• Participating in committees or special projects as needed
• Helping to find students who have run away
• Using proper techniques during therapeutic holds and restraints
• Keeping up-to-date with necessary certifications like CPR and first aid

Requirements

• Former athlete, coach, or someone comfortable with confrontation and de-escalation
• Strong presence and emotional control
• Ability to influence behavior effectively
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Timely, dependable, and reliable
• Able to maintain appropriate boundaries
• Able to follow instructions
• Genuine care and concern for others
• Valid driver's license
• Pass background check (BCIC)
• College education preferred
