Anthem Ambassador

We are leaders in the restoration and rejuvenation of downtown Waco, with a special focus on Anthem Stories, our refinished venue space on Austin Avenue. This front-facing role advocates for the promotion and growth of our Stories venue, ensuring every visitor experiences a space that is refined, elegant, and full of character.

About the role

As our Anthem Ambassador, you will handle off-site sales and outreach while assisting our on-site events team with venue management tasks such as tours and customer inquiries. We seek a dedicated, entrepreneurial individual with a knack for sales and creating meaningful connections with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance to team members, managers, and owners
• Demonstrate responsibility, organization, and maturity to meet daily demands
• Work with minimal oversight as a results-oriented team player
• Maintain presence and availability (primarily 9 AM–5 PM, Monday–Saturday, with slight variations)
• Attend to timelines and complete tasks efficiently
• Adapt to evolving work demands with flexibility
• Perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
• Use reliable transportation (must have a car)
• Maintain professionalism, arriving ready and mentally alert for the day
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve skills through on-the-job training
• Pursue personal growth, showing teachability and maturity in communication and work ethic
• Exhibit attention to detail, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and go the extra mile
• Coordinate effectively with other staff members
• Promote event offerings (drinks, dining, and rental availabilities) to the general public, including attending expos and conferences
• Conduct targeted campaigning, including cold calling and outreach to Waco businesses and organizations
• Perform on-site sales, including venue tours and event walkthroughs
• Promote the broader Anthem Group and explore opportunities to grow outreach for other brands

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• 2+ years of experience in sales or marketing (required)
• Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Waco, TX 76701 before starting work

Pay

$12.00 – $15.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday (primary schedule)
• Weekend availability required
• Full-time and part-time positions available
