About the role
We are seeking an Antenna/RF Design Engineer in Vancouver, WA, to drive technological innovation and excellence in antenna design for vehicular, infrastructure, and smart city applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, prototype, and validate antennas for vehicular, infrastructure, and smart city applications (e.g., LTE, 5G, VHF/UHF, GNSS, LMR, Wi-Fi)
- Optimize antenna performance for challenging environments (e.g., multi-band, low-profile, vehicular mount)
- Work with mechanical and other antenna engineers to ensure proper antenna integration
- Perform testing and validation in anechoic chambers and field environments
- Support certification and compliance processes (FCC, PTCRB, FirstNet, etc.)
- Participate in technical reviews, customer meetings, and design discussions
- Document design processes, test results, and technical reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in antenna design and RF product development
- Proficient in simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS) and measurement equipment (e.g., VNA, spectrum analyzer, chamber systems)
- Strong knowledge of antenna types: monopole, dipole, patch, helical, PCB/FPC, stamp metal, and array-based designs
- Experience with vehicular or infrastructure antenna products is highly preferred
- Familiarity with relevant standards and certifications for public safety and transportation networks
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated/standing) for extended periods

Pay
The salary range for this role is up to $100,000, based on experience.
Vancouver, WA - Full-Time, Exempt position.
