Anson L. Clark Scholars Program
About the Program
The Anson L. Clark Scholars Program at Texas Tech University is one of the few completely free summer research programs for high school students. Over 7 weeks, scholars work alongside Texas Tech researchers on original projects in science, engineering, humanities, or business. The program covers all expenses: housing, meals, materials, and round-trip travel.
Only 12 students are accepted nationally each year, making it one of the most selective and exclusive programs in the U.S.

Eligibility & Application Guide
Open to high school students aged 16–18 with an exceptional academic record. Only 12 spots are available annually. The program covers all expenses, including travel.
Application process:

- Submit an essay, recommendations, and academic transcript
- Selection is extremely competitive
