ANSI Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform structural tests including: Acoustic emission tests to assess the integrity of the fiberglass and steel structure
• Magnetic particle inspections to identify surface cracks on ferrous metals
• Torque test all critical fasteners, among others.
• Dielectric testing to verify the electrical insulating strength in the FRP upper and lower booms, bucket, liners, FRP extensions on digger derricks, tool circuits, and upper control system.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined
• Basic knowledge of mechanical processes, movement, and assembly
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• Adequate visual acuity and perception to identify and distinguish light, color, depth, distance, and other elements pertaining to spatial resolution
• Must be able to work independently with some direction from management
• Problem solver, detail oriented

Job Requirements

• Able to stand, sit, squat, climb, crawl and twist for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be punctual, accountable, and provide high quality customer service
• Must be able to travel for an extended period of time and available to work varying shifts which may include weekends, overnights and holidays
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen
