Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental health inspections and investigations.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to businesses and residents regarding compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve environmental health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address environmental health issues.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Valid Minnesota driver's license.
  • Experience in environmental health or related field.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

  • Knowledge of environmental health laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
