Summary of Position
Responsible for the efficient operation of the Anodize line. Ensures quality material is produced in accordance with established standards.
Essential Functions
- Racks parts in preparation for treatment based on pre-determined schedule.
- Unloads and inspects parts to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
- Ability to run the line in manual or automatic mode.
- Maintains proper operation of the line by monitoring it and stopping/restarting as needed.
- Troubleshoots any problems and chooses the best course of action, consulting with lead and/or supervisor as necessary.
- Packages material according to customer specification with no damage to material.
- Verifies anodize process perimeters (recipes) and performs temperature checks.
- Notifies supervisor of any mechanical problems.
- Performs all duties in accordance with company safety and standards.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Wears required Personal Protective Equipment.
Occasional Duties
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience / Education
High School graduate or equivalent.
Skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Special attention to detail is required.

- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required throughout the workday to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to see print in various sizes and formats. May be required to pull and push up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment: Work performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (for Maintenance & Receiving only). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas.
