Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Accurately document medical history and patient forms information for the provider; intake vitals (B/P, Height, Weight, Glucose, HR, BMI); educate patients on procedures, treatments, medications, and assist with questions from the Annual Wellness Packet; maintain patient confidentiality (HIPPA).
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule patients for follow-up/lab appointments; scan in patient information/documents; maintain clinical compliant logs for practice health and safety; assist providers by closing care gaps on Optum ProPortal, Cozeva, and other insurance requirements; identify safety concerns to Site Manager; train other clinical staff on job duties.
  • Clinic Operations/General Responsibilities: Float to other clinics as needed; cross-train on Nurses Station, Lab, Front Desk, and Scribe; proactively identify safety concerns; assist providers with closing care gaps.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Residential Medical Aide (CRMA), or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • License or education of higher
  • 1+ years working in a healthcare setting
  • Proven knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations including OSHA and HIPAA requirements
  • Proven knowledge of computerized information systems (EMR) used in clinical management settings
  • Proven knowledge of medical terminology

Pay and Schedule
