The positions are located at Old Hundred ES (0.8) and Swift Creek ES (0.2) within Chesterfield School Division. The role involves instructing students in various subjects including Art, Music, Physical Education, Library, Foreign Language, and Technology. Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing student progress, and managing classroom behavior.

Essential Job Functions

• Improvises lessons in emergency situations
• Prepares and delivers appropriate curriculum content
• Establishes and communicates clear objectives for learning activities
• Uses district-curriculum to plan daily instructional activities
• Delivers intervention services based on specific goals and objectives
• Maintains a positive educational climate
• Assesses student learning and adjusts instruction accordingly
• Supervises students during non-classroom times
• Collaborates with other faculty members
• Communicates regularly with parents, administration, and other staff
• Incorporates and models appropriate use of technology
• Ensures compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
• Demonstrates commitment to professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Eligibility for a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Elementary Education preferred
• Valid driver's license
