About the role

Lead stakeholder-informed funding and partnership strategies that align federal, state, philanthropic, and private investment around shared regional priorities. The role advances collaborative efforts in workforce opportunities, strengthening educational pathways, expanding polymer innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and advancing place-based development across Greater Akron.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute funding strategies informed by stakeholder input.
• Align investments from federal, state, philanthropic, and private sources with regional priorities.
• Drive collaborative initiatives in workforce development, educational pathways, polymer innovation, entrepreneurship, and place-based development.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support economic development goals.

Qualifications

• Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management (graduated with distinction from California State University of Northridge).
• Recipient of the 2024 Diverse Communities Scholarship from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
