About the role
The Clinical Development Analyst position at Solventum is responsible for developing and modifying inpatient and outpatient coding content for various products. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify inpatient and outpatient coding content for various products
- Code and modify client records to simulate client environments with product use
- Add and validate content with variations in documentation terminology
- Validate and test content for inpatient and outpatient products
- Enhance client experience through coding background and knowledge
- Work extra hours to complete assignments and meet deadlines
- Use discretion and independent judgement to deal with software concerns/problems
- Offer alternative coding paths and keywords based on coding expertise
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 4 years of hospital inpatient coding experience in a private, public, government, or military environment, or
- High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of hospital inpatient coding experience in a private, public, government or military environment, and AHIMA Coding Certification (e.g. RHIA, RHIT, CCS)
Skills
- Proficiency with the ICD-10-CM and PCS coding systems
- Proven experience in communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable of new trends in clinical management and health information systems
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude in a team environment
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Pay and Schedule
The expected compensation range for this position is $96,000 - $132,000, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. Specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.

Onboarding
New employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy.
