About the role
Polyvalent professional, the agent carries out a dual essential mission within the structure: ensuring secure, caring and dynamic reception of children during out-of-school time and school catering during vacations, and ensuring cleanliness, hygiene and sanitary condition of the premises. The main objective is to provide children with a clean, safe environment conducive to their development.
Responsibilities
- Out-of-school & Vacation Animation
- Welcome children (morning, noon and/or evening) and families in a climate of trust.
- Supervise and accompany children during meals, playground time and travel.
- Design, organize and lead playful, creative or sports activities adapted to different age groups.
- Assist with dressing, autonomy and respect for collective living rules.
- School Catering (during vacations)
- Prepare the dining hall, set tables and arrange the refectory.
- Receive and check meal deliveries (hot link) and manage reheating.
- Serve meals to children while ensuring balance and conviviality.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, clean and disinfect the kitchen and dining hall after service.
- Premises Maintenance
- Clean, disinfect and vacuum floors, tables, furniture and sanitary facilities.
- Empty bins and sort waste.
- Rigorously apply sanitary protocols and maintain records of maintenance actions.
- Manage cleaning product stocks and report equipment malfunctions or repair needs.
Requirements
- Knowledge
- Understanding of children’s rhythms and developmental needs.
- Regulations related to welcoming minors (safety, supervision).
- Mandatory mastery of HACCP methods (hygiene and food safety standards in collective catering).
- Awareness of general hygiene rules, safety pictograms and risks associated with product use.
- Soft skills
- Versatility and responsiveness: ability to switch effectively between educational roles and catering or maintenance tasks.
- Rigor and vigilance: strong focus on cleanliness and respect for cold/hot chain protocols.
- Patience and kindness: listening skills, gentleness and natural authority with children.
- Team spirit: effective communication with colleagues, meal providers and management.
- Practical skills
- Ability to supervise a group of children (during activities and meals) and enforce collective living rules.
- Mastery of collective catering service procedures (reheating, temperature monitoring, traceability).
- Mastery of manual or mechanized cleaning techniques and dishwashing (dishes and kitchen equipment).
- Ability to handle and store cleaning products in strict compliance with safety data sheets and dosage instructions.
