About the role

The role involves managing animal enclosures, feeding animals, cleaning habitats, and assisting in educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily care of animals including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring health.
• Assist in educational programs and public presentations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within animal enclosures.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with animals or related field preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of animal behavior and care practices.
