About the role
The role involves managing animal enclosures, feeding animals, cleaning habitats, and assisting in educational programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily care of animals including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring health.
- Assist in educational programs and public presentations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within animal enclosures.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with animals or related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of animal behavior and care practices.
