Lead the Future of Animal Behavior at NOCO Humane! 🐾 NOCO Humane is seeking an experienced Behavior Manager to lead our Behavior and Foster/Transfer programs across multiple campuses. This is more than a behavior or training role. We're looking for a strategic leader who can build high-performing teams, mentor staff, develop innovative programs, and help shape the future of animal welfare in northern Colorado. You'll partner across departments to improve outcomes for animals while leading critical behavior, foster, and transfer initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner across departments to improve outcomes for animals
• Lead and develop high-performing teams
• Mentor staff in behavior and positive reinforcement techniques
• Develop and implement innovative behavior, foster, and transfer programs
• Shape the future of animal welfare in northern Colorado

Requirements

• Professional animal behavior certification (CTC, CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, ACAAB, or similar)
• Hands-on shelter behavior and positive reinforcement experience
• Experience leading and developing people and teams

Qualifications

• A passion for collaborative leadership and continuous improvement

$65,000–$70,000
