Angular Developer

About the role

Full Stack Java Developer position requiring strong Angular (SME level) experience, with onsite work 3 days a week in NYC and an onsite interview required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Java-based APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot, AWS and streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Develop Angular applications at SME level.
• Work with SQL to build stored procedures, functions, and data warehousing solutions.
• Gain exposure to ETL and Data Engineering tools such as Mulesoft, StreamSets, and Databricks.
• Develop TDD/BDD unit-tests and collaborate with QA on defect triage and resolution.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc.) and work with virtual teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience coding a new application from scratch (not just maintenance).
• Strong skills in Kafka, Microservices, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kubernetes, and SQL stored procedures.
• SME-level Angular experience.
• Experience in Financial Services and Investment Banking domain.

Qualifications

• Experience working with virtual teams and Agile methodologies.
