Responsibilities
- Assist the physician during peripheral or neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Absorb and perform radiographic work on various types of radiographic equipment.
- Provide patient care and ensure patient safety in the Interventional Radiology lab.
- Rotate call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
- Current certification with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Radiologic Technologist license from the Ohio Department of Health.
- BLS certification.
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and facilitate teamwork.
- Independent judgment and action-taking ability.
- High stress situation handling capability.
- Long workday and call hour tolerance.
Qualifications
- Preferred 1 year recent hospital angiographic interventional experience.
- Preferred 1 year recent hospital Angiography Technician/Interventional Radiology, or Surgical Radiology Technologist experience.
