Angio Technologist/Interventional Rad Tech -Cardiac Cath Lab (1.0 FTE / Days)

About the role

Overlake is seeking an Interventional Neuro/Angio Technologist to assist in various diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Interventional Radiology and Cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist Neuro-interventionalists, Cardiologists and Radiologists in angiograms with or without stent placement, including complex neurointerventional procedures.
• Provide care for patients undergoing nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placement in the IR.
• Operate in 6 rooms, working Monday-Friday from 0600 to 1730, with 10-hour shifts including call shifts for urgent cases.
• Cover off hours (overnight & weekend) through a call team.

Requirements

• A/A/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT).
• OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS).
• Two years of related clinical experience preferred.
• Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Mandatory 24 CME credits bi-annually.
• Mandatory AIDS education.

Qualifications

• Current healthcare provider CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
