Angio Tech - Cath Lab
Job Responsibilities
The Angiography Technician will assist the physician during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemakers and ICDs. They must possess the ability to perform radiographic work on several different types of radiographic equipment to ensure all work is completed competently, timely, and efficiently. They will also assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment.
The Angiography Technician will be responsible for rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time if employed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
- Current certification with ARRT in diagnostic radiology
- Possesses a current license as a State of Ohio Radiology
- BLS certification required within six months of hire
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year recent hospital angiographic interventional experience
- Cath Lab experience preferred
- Live within 30 minutes for call requirement
