ANG F-16 MTC/MTT-G Simulator Facility Mission Support - Joint Base Andrews, MD
About the role
Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring that the DAF and DoD can effectively prepare for and execute their missions with the highest level of readiness and lethality.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of simulator console operations along with threat scenario development.
- Conduct simulator periods for local unit availability.
- Support mission briefing, mission execution, and a full debrief.
- Coordinate all aspects of mission execution and required mission materials with the host unit.
- Provides operational insight and assists in the development and prioritization of requirements, strategy development, capability assessments, analysis of alternatives, documentation development and analysis.
- Makes recommendations and implements opportunities to mitigate risk.
Schedule
Daily Schedules will consist of two simulator periods per day for local unit availability. Each simulator period will allow enough time to accomplish a mission briefing, mission execution (1 hour minimum per Ready Aircrew Program requirements), plus a full debrief. All aspect of mission execution to include start and stop times of simulator periods, mission type and scenario, and required mission materials will be coordinated with the host unit. In addition, a third period will be required to provide networked DMO (Distributed Mission Operations) in support of the DTOC (Distributed Training Operations Center) in Des Moines, Iowa.
Qualifications
- Active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- The possibility to telecommute (Part-time).
- A Bachelor's degree (or additional years of relevant experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity, or program management fields in lieu of degree).
- 12 years of experience.
- The ability to travel 10%.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience supporting AFMS, or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired.
