About the Role

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join a collegial team at UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando, FL. This state-of-the-art facility opened in March 2021 and operates as one of HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services’ hospital-employed programs. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and a healthy work/life balance with a structured schedule that includes rotated, scheduled time off plus PTO.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a Care Team Model consisting of 3 General Anesthesiologists and 7 APPs.
• Supervise anesthesia coverage across four sites of service, including OB.
• Manage a diverse case mix: General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Breast, OB/GYN, Gyn-Onc, Robotics, GI, Bariatrics, and Cath Lab.
• Must be proficient in OB anesthesia, including epidurals and C-sections.
• Participate in a 3-week rotation schedule:
  • Week 1: 7a–3p, Monday–Friday
  • Week 2: Monday–Friday, come in at 3p to finish late cases, followed by call from home until 7a. Weekend call is from home for emergent cases only (30-minute response time).
  • Week 3: Off
• Optional: Pick up extra call shifts for additional pay.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Proficiency in OB anesthesia (epidurals and C-sections).
