About the role
Support healthcare facilities by delivering anesthesia services in a 1:4 care-team model, working independently approximately 40% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia in diverse settings: main operating rooms, labor & delivery, endoscopy, interventional radiology, gamma knife, MRI, and CT.
- Manage call duties, preferably in-house, and cover weekends as required.
- Document care using the Medaxion EMR system.
- Oversee anesthesia care across multiple operating rooms and manage coverage schedules.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
- Active Virginia medical license (IMLC not accepted).
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Participation in Maintenance of Certification (MOC).
