About the Role
As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Administering anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring proper equipment is available
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to any changes in condition
- Collaborating with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers to develop and implement anesthesia plans
- Providing post-operative care and monitoring patient recovery
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a CRNA in Virginia
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a CRNA
- Knowledge of pharmacology and physiology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
